Totally agree. I've heard more than one person claim we need to get rid of the "Ferns" as if they're similar players. It completely deluded, bordering on racist to put them in the same bracket.

Fernandinho was our best player last season before his first sending off. One of the most underrated players in the league.

Yes, don't mind Carvalho for dm but we need that RB cover too, the only other player that comes to mind that can do that as comfortably as Fabinho is Kimmich, that said Zin seems to think Billy is wrong in his certainty that Fabinho is off.

Yep, it doesn't make any sense as an alternative signing. Their role in the squad wouldn't be the same. We need the versatility more than we need the outright DM.

I think it's very unlikely he's the first name on the actual team sheet.

He's not going to be a better RB than Walker, LB than Mendy or pivot than Yaya or anyone coming in.

Fernandinho's only chance of being in the starting XI every week is if we play 3241 again.

I think average is stretching it a bit, bout he was certainly nowhere near the level he was in 15-16.
