If we were to bring in a new DM, wouldn't we have made it a priority and signed one, or at least be in serious negotiations by now? Wouldn't Pep want a new DM to be available for most of pre season? Its not the sort of position where a newcomer could be expected to slot into the starting eleven seamlessly.

He was good on the ball but by the time he left Liverpool his keeping had deteriorated significantly from my memory. Don't know what it's like now.
