Although seemingly an impossible guess just how good mbappe could be I personally don't want us to blow £100m plus on him? I would rather invest for the best goalkeeper, a CB and at least one new full back for each side? My perfect list:

Not too shabby them either. I think pep would choose kimmich over Fabinho if he had the choice and Laporte probably burned his bridges with pep last year but you never know mate

Yes, shame about Laporte if true. Watched him a lot this season. Great player, superb positional awareness coupled with no nonsense defending. Would have no problems in the PL.

Wouldn't class him as Captain material to be honest, think Pep would like JS for that role in the future. Not too sure on the leadership front either. However, he's still young but no doubt a quality defender.

If that's the case and we're serious about stepping up & challenging the best then Verratti should be made a priority at all costs!

It's an option bud but I don't see it being the factor to move us up that gear to challenge the Spanish Giants or Juve etc.
Vinny, I think is crucial in future plans as he is the only real leader & motivator at the club now IMHO.
We've seen the difference he's made in the last few games.

Indeedy, so keep him at CB, sign another top CB (VVD, Laporte, Alderweirald if that rumour was true) and move Stones to midfield. Leadership at the back, passing in midfield, riches in attack

I'd prefer us to buy Veratti over Mbappe, Sanchez or pretty much any player in the world except Messi. He's probably the best box to box midfielder in the world and has an insatiable desire to win. He's exactly what we need.

Carvalho is heavily linked to West Brom and Newcastle. It's really more of his level

Didn't Stones used to play some at Everton and for England? I don't recall him being great but could he do a job as a back up? Maybe freeing up some funds to buy at another position?
