It's Quiet - a new dawn

Not a fan of it myself, that said, I don't recall us conceding too many from set pieces last season.

This. It looks terrible when we concede this way but we actually concede very few like this. It keeps the opposition as far away from our goal as possible, you don't see many headers scored 12-18 yards out.

Think that was set too high, but you are right we didn't concede many from set pieces last season, because we set a high line to prevent the big set piece specialist teams putting it into the mixer.
Same as we haven't conceded from many corners with not putting defenders on the posts, but you can be sure as soon as we concede one from not having players on the post it will be highlighted as a big mistake from the pundits as a Pep not understanding English football thing as will the zonal marking .

That high line has put us in all sorts of trouble I hate it. It's not impenetrable, it doesn't start a counter most of the time, the keeper is put at a bigger disadvantage, and other teams know of it now the moment the fixture schedule comes out.

What I don't understand is when the free kick taker starts to run toward the ball our defenders just move with the attackers towards the goal, keeping them onside. Why not just step out ?
