This embargo shit seems to be the next razzmatazz that journos and social media platforms are using for clicks to gain interest in clubs from fans, it's such a shallow sport these days that on the pitch is becoming a side issue.

Embargoes have been in place for years with every single press conference. It gives the press and club two days of copy from one press conference. It's not remotely new and was going on pre-Hughes era. It's also the club, not the press, that demands the embargo.
