It's quiet... summer 2018.

The other angle is that Hazard wants a new Sanchez style 500k PW contract. In fact that's what I'm betting my money on..For 500k I think he'd happily turn his back on the CL
Hazard wants to win the champion league and fa cup the only trophies he hasn't won in his career, hopefully he gets his hands on the fa cup this Saturday

The two forwards we are after : Insigne & Hazard

Insigne is the most likely and it’s being discussed separate from the Jorginho transfer

Zinchenko potentially going the other way on loan for a year too

Not posted too much since the night I wrote this due to hoping what I was told was true,

Not heard anything new RE Insigne but that was the garden path I was lead down at the time, with Hazard the 'dream'. It seems like Hazard has been told to gently push from the inside, and we will do the legwork over the course of the summer. This would NOT be a quick deal though, so I am not sure how we will feel about this one dragging past the world cup. Would be interesting to see which table Hazard sits down at for breakfast in the Belgian camp; as I can't imagine Kevin & Courtouis will be sat too close together in that room...

Still very reliably informed that Zinchenko will not be with the squad next season as his sale value is at its highest considering he won't be getting much action with Mendy back fit & foden another year down the line

Not a clue myself mate.
There have been stories over the past few weeks that he won't be signing a new deal and he wants UCL football & major investment into the club

I have heard that Chelsea want a more streamlined management spine with more homegrown players & potentially even an English coach if Sarri can't be tempted.
I even heard a rumour they were in for Howe haha! They have been buying English of late with Barkley, Drinkwater etc and they definitely were not Conte signings.

Personally I think if a deal works for all then it will always make sense. It makes massive sense for City in that he is that one 'crack' player who might have been the difference in getting a couple of away goals at Anfield. I myself think he is the best player on the break into an opponents half in the country, with Sane a close second, plus he is almost impossible to bring down when he gets going.
It works for him for many reasons.
Does it work for Chelsea? meh, not under the current structure. But it may well be a way to go into a new 'era' & fresh approach at the club, with Abramovich not the dictator he once was, and the purse strings a bit tighter.

I said Zinchenko will be moving on weeks ago yet got told to stop posting shite.

He isn't up to the standard we require especially against the best in Europe.

If Pep could have 1 player especially now Sanchez fucked him.over is Edin Hazard.

I can see City paying up to £150m for him & £55m for Jorginio.

Don't forget without Yaya wages & Sanchez deal falling through City have the money, power & manager to make this happen.

Chelsea have definitely changed there structure on & off the field. I can see Hazard waving bye tomorrow & then sit & watch it unfold in Russia.

If City show there cards then Hazard has given indication he wants City & not Real Madrid.

Interesting few weeks ahead.

It's either Hazard & Jorginio or Mahrez & Jorginio

ah alright cheers for that m8

27 is too old to be spending well over 100 million on a player, and yaya is a terrible example. Yes he was great those first four years but he has done very little since, as well as being absolutely useless these past two years. If anything I think that supports my argument when you factor in that Yaya cost us 30 but Chelsea could easily ask 5x that for hazard.

How do you know who didn't fuck up the chelsea dressing room? I think its more than likely the best player on the team played at least some role in stabbing two managers in the back out of 6 years. Yes its speculation but the balance of probability is in my favour. Especially when you look at how much effort he put in against us, didn't even try to carry them in the games that really mattered.

Yes you are correct none of the players we have been linked with has set the world on fire in the champions league, but all of them have played fewer games than Hazard, some have never had the chance to play and in Mahrez case he only got one chance and did pretty well. I accept you can argue this one either way though, I was just reacting to a few people suggesting he could take us to the next level in that competition and I disagree because he's never managed it with chelsea.

The random bloke who started the whole hazard conversation today tweeted he could cost us Aguero, I didn't just pull it out of my arse mate.
