Does anyone else feel we are doing a bit of overkill going for 4 players ? Now that we have a great squad, I would rather see 1/2 players coming in every season and bringing through the likes of Foden, Diaz, Maffeo. We spent almost 260m+ for this season, surely this isn't sustainable every year. We need a DM to help Dinho instead of Yaya, that is all I see as a need. Even adding a striker is detrimental to the development of Jesus, if Aguero is not leaving.

Going for four players doesn’t mean we will necessarily sign all four. The evidence of recent windows suggests that we cannot be assured that all targets will be landed. Anyway, a number of our players are injury prone, some are still very raw, and we cannot be certain that our top players will automatically maintain the same form next season, so 3 or 4 seems reasonable.

Well seeing as none of them could take the pressure off Dinho, replace Yaya or play left back, no.
