It's Quiet the £250m return

When you look at the likes of Quansah signing for Leverkusen for 35 million and Elanga going for 55m you can't believe City are willing to offload McAtee for 15-20m. I'd rather keep him in the squad for this season and let him go on a free next summer if we are just willing to give him away at those prices.

The fact we are willing to sell Grealish for a cut price 40 million and no club seems to be interested is alarming to me. Jack Grealish is still a top quality player who would improve lots of clubs in Europe.

Still feel we need a top quality Right Back and Centre Back if we are to compete for the title this season. A Goalkeeper is needed also, but that could wait until next season when Ederson leaves us. This season feels more like a transitional season where we will fall just short of the league title but you'll start to see the makings of the new City for the next decade. Whatever happens, will be exciting.
City will probably get about 25m for McAtee, maybe more with add ons, sell on clause, etc. The problem with Grealish is the wages he's on. If he was on 100k a week we'd be looking at much more than a 40m transfer fee.

The forums full of fucking idiots now unfortunately.
That kid is good!

Wouldn't surprise me if Real come calling to replace Modric in a year or so. Then City will look like idiots like how the hell did we idiotically let him go so cheap?!

13 is a complete rip off considering we actually paid like 10mil to get him.

I'd be happy with Grealish being replaced by GibbsWhite if we can afford that. English for English.
If we can get a fit and motivated grealish this season that would help. We could have 60 plus games to fulfill! Need 25 players at it

It's also not helped by the images of him on the piss at the back end of the season - regardless of whether that's 'problem drinking' or not, it's. It a good look.

Added to the fact that everyone knows we want shot, hardly conducive to making a quick sale. Someone will loan him late in the window

Grealish is history at City.
And £40mill is a book profit if we can get that, if McAtee goes for £25mill + (ignore the idiots putting lower figures forward) plus the usual sell-on & possibly buy-back options then that's all pure profit on the books and enables us to strengthen where we need to. Perrone will undoubtedly have the same clauses on his sale.

Not quite like for like but deffo one English player out one in. I do think that if we are losing potantially 3 English players in Stones, Walker (gone) and Jack (almost certainly gone) then we need a minimum of 2 in (MGW and Livramento) that will fulfil the "English" requirements and our need to further midfiled reinforcements and a RB. If we could I'd add Wharton to this list and we have 3 of the best obtainable English players around to replace our non English older players

So roughly half of what was being reported a month or two ago

I genuinely believe we could have saved us £50m by keeping him and not signing Nico G, this reluctance to play the players we own, whether we buy to loan them or they come from the academy is nuts.

We used to have Pedro Porro on the books, we’re crying out for him now. It’s constant.

But we’re not crying out for Porro. We could have had him back on a couple of occasions which tells you we don’t want him. He’s not good enough, too rash almost all the time.
