Any new player can look good initially if the analysts don't have enough data and the opposition can't work them out. Not sure any of us expected Savio to play as much as he did, due to injuries to others meaning he was needed and maybe/hopefully he didn't get the chance to learn and adapt himself.I don’t doubt Doku will have a great season, can see it being huge for him. My concern is Savio, we definitely saw early flashes from him at the start of the season, but all in all he was pretty poor after that. I know he’s a young lad, but he needs to step it up this year and make one of the wing slots his own.
This is a big season for him as he needs to show he can step it up otherwise he'll be like the new George Best who appears at the rags every season for about 2 games before they find themselves at Sunderland for the rest of their career.
