For what it's worth, precious little, the French papers still appear to have Dortmund as front runners. They had a deal in place and Cherki wanted to go in January, but it was low and left OL insufficient time to find a replacement. Wouldn't be surprised if the news is OL just trying to drive his price up.

very good player and before we signed marmoush I thought would be a very good signing because of his ability to play across the front 3. Now I don't think we have a burning platform for another wide player due to marmoush, Bobb coming back and better midfielders breaking the line and hence facilitating more room for existing wide playersI have zero knowledge of any deal set up for Rodrygo, don't know where the certainty has come from in some quarters?

We'll be checking availability & costs for multiple players at the same time. He'll just know we're interested and what we'd offer him, that's about it. I don't think we'll be telling him he's our second choice option.
If pep got cherki working hard then pep will get a statue in every corner. Cherkis talent with a mad man's mentality would grant us a bonafide superstar for a decade but I just don't see that happening. He'll revert a lot and would be a bit part player who will still be good but not elite and pep will eventually get annoyed at him.

Mate, everyone knows exactly what you meant. When we discuss professional sports players we are not comparing them to your average human, we are comparing them to their contemporaries. Of course they all worked hard to get there but he quite clearly doesn't work as hard as his other professional athletes on the pitch and he doesn't have to a lot of the time because he's simply better but to accommodate that at city's level, they better be messi and Ronaldo levels of production or bare minimum salah/haaland.Lazier than others, let's say!

it would be a very good move for all, Stones doesn't need to move, plays when he can, Everton have little risk only covering salary and we have an excess of CHsI assume they would cover that?
