It's Quiet the £250m return

The spine used to be Ederson, prime Stones, prime Dias, Rodri, David Silva, de Bruyne and Aguero.

Or Hart, Kompany, Fernandinho, Yaya, David Silva, Sergio Aguero.

And that's forgetting a whole load of players.

Pretty fucking huge drop off if you ask me.
They’re generational talents though who you cannot replace, Aguero/Haaland aside.

Some players can’t be replaced to the level they were.

13th in the league, below the rags (amongst others) been beaten twice in 3 games already, playing as bad if not worse as last season, new heir to the throne and new signing injured for 2 months at least and no right back at the club........... the wheels have well and truly come off over the last 18 months and Pep cant sort it.
We're in transition. It isn't going to be smooth. We need to step back from day to day games in the season and consider whether the squad is strong enough.

If this window ends as it looks like it's going to, we will have added Reijnders and Donnarumma. That's 2 very significant additions. I would question whether the no. 10 is in place because we haevn't seen enough of Cherki and Foden is not playing.

The only way we get a right back is a release clause one from Spain or Portugal imo.

Agreed but it's just not happening. We've just got to accept that we are where we are. Since the treble we've spent £600m and yet the squad is considerably worse.

The standards are on the fucking floor right now. Kyle Walker left the club in January and eight months later we're still playing Nunes and Lewis there.

Marmoush joined in January and is one of our highest earners and the guy literally cannot control the ball.

Genuinely what is the strategy with the goalkeepers. Why are we signing two for £60m in a summer where we don't have a right back?

Guardiola and the board have put this squad in a worse place than before he arrived.

You can get closer than we have though. Just pay for the best available, not try to make a project of some youngsters or gamble whether someone average might improve.

Signing one of the best keepers in the world at 26 years of age (who has just won the CL) is a Utd type Signing according to our geeks online

City have dropped the ball significantly.

liverpool showing how to strengthen when on top. They'll piss the league this year.

Pep, Txiki and Co's decision to not strengthen the squad last year will haunt us for years to come.

Players brought in are mainly mediocre. Any outfield player bought today will be a panic buy.

Donnarumma will cause more problems than he solves as his kicking is worse than Traffords. Those in denial about this will soon get a wake up call.

Harsh on Marmoush imo Sean, think he has done quite well personally. The right back situation is a shit show though and the board have seemingly taken their eye off the footballing side to do the commercial side just expecting things to continue which has seen everything collapse to this level in only 18 months!
