all four CM's (MGW, Rodri, Reijnders & Nico) all love a long shot banger as well.. that'll help, just pepper the GK.
Definitely. Also Rodri Reijnders and Nico are all tall and physically strong as well so it’ll be hard to stop them.

That's a good point.Which City midfield, if we exclude this season, has been worse in the last decade?
and I almost forgot that if we get Livramento and Ait Nouri we create an added dimension of overlapping fullbacksAs you rightly stated, he attacks the spaces and attracts players to him.
He's Kovacic on steroids with his running on the ball, coupled with a keen eye for a pass.
Pep has touched on this during a few pressers this season, he's stated that the Prem is becoming a lot more physical these days, so I expect a more physical and demanding midfield next season.Definitely. Also Rodri Reijnders and Nico are all tall and physically strong as well so it’ll be hard to stop them.
Morning TH - I personally don’t think that we need a massive rebuild. I just think two genuine fullbacks and a creative midfielder to replace KDB. These three could be pretty much balanced with the exits of 6-7 players. Thoughts ??We've not seen it, however?
Wirtz doesn't play against the parked bus. Reinjdeers and MGW will be more than enough.
We also need to be looking at filling in the home grown quota spaces, especially if we're looking to lose, Walker, Stones, Grealish etc......I feel that we can do better than Morgan Gibbs-White, not only because he averages a goal contribution every three and a half appearances, but also because I’ve watched him play at least a dozen times a season for the last five or six years.
If he signs for us I will be fully behind him, of course, and if he proves that I was wrong to doubt him I will be the first in line to fall at his feet to apologise. I’m just not convinced yet.
Correct but are they better than what we currently have? That's surely because you are assessing them playing within their current teams not how they might do in ours, which is what our scouting team are paid to do
You’re absolutely right - I just don’t know if someone like James McAtee would make an inferior contribution if we gave him all the minutes we intend to give to MGW.We also need to be looking at filling in the home grown quota spaces, especially if we're looking to lose, Walker, Stones, Grealish etc......
that'll be Livramento and MGW, add Ake and Carson to complete the 4 neededWe also need to be looking at filling in the home grown quota spaces, especially if we're looking to lose, Walker, Stones, Grealish etc......
Who cares about who people are clamouring for? Palmer wanted to leave us for two seasons before he eventually did. Him finally being good enough for our side only highlights our squad deficiencies.Mental logic.
There are loads on here clamouring for Palmer.
His team only finished 4th. That makes him average?
You know that is a question that can only be answered through playing.Correct but are they better than what we currently have?
Lets not forget that our scouting department identified Phillips as a replacement for Fernandinho and Nunes as an alternative for Bellingham
Sign him, loan him to a French team and see how he doesWould love a punt on El Khannous as a project #10 in the mix but doubt it,
My overall point is that we need to make signings that improve our starting 11, not just fill our squad. We've had enough of that over the last few years. You know that is a question that can only be answered through playing.
Agreed, not every purchase works out as we would hope, but they will do sufficient due diligence and consider more than he's shit for them so will be shit for us metrics like some posters do

There's a reason why Liverpool are on the verge of signing Wirtz and not Gibbs-WhiteMy overall point is that we need to make signings that improve our starting 11, not just fill our squad. We've had enough of that over the last few years.
I don't care what anyone says. Replacing KDB & Gundogan with MGW & Reijnders is fucking tragic.
Lets hope Oscar Bobb turns out to be world class that people on here believe otherwise, we'll be lucky to finish top 4 next season
daresay i'd keep him in the mix over rico as a CM, given the makeup of the possible squad but zero chance and probably overkill a bitSign him, loan him to a French team and see how he does
I’ll stick up for the board here and say that replacing KDB with someone of anywhere near equal ability is absolutely impossible - and from what we’ve heard it sounds like Reijnders could be a great signing. My overall point is that we need to make signings that improve our starting 11, not just fill our squad. We've had enough of that over the last few years.
