Are we planning to take any new players to the CWC i wonder? Our window opens on the 1st june doesnt it?
If so, then what's the point? He's not better than either of them. So how does he improve us?He’s more likely replacing Kovacic or Bernardo.
Don’t think we’re getting a like for like KDB replacement.
HaalandGvardiol replaced Laporte. I would necessarily say he's an upgrade.
Dias replaced Kompany. Not an upgrade.
Marmoush was a panic buy in January who looks like he can play so I'll concede that one.
When was the last time we've done what Liverpool have done? Won the league and then made a really statement signing of real top drawer quality? I dont think we ever have

i think the main squad (Haaland, Rodri, Gvardiol, Foden etc) will join later stags if we advanceAre we planning to take any new players to the CWC i wonder? Our window opens on the 1st june doesnt it?
I said Haaland aside.Haaland
I said Haaland aside. And I should have said that Gvardiol isn't an upgrade on Laporte. You just said Gvardiol in your own post
Haaland the year before him
I suspect if Gundogan stays, as well as Kova and Bernie, that you may be correct.Reijnders is sufficent. There is no need to add MGW to the squad.
i like munoz from palace, after the game pep gave him a look that got me thinking mmm we might be interested in him, might of been nothing, but he is a very impressive fullback good quality, quick and can run all day
There’s no smoke without fire, you could say the same about Phillips and probably didWho have we bid for?
Yeah but at the same time he wants to keep his players who have won everything already while giving others only a chance if they completely overachieved in the minutes they get. It needed several injuries and cards for O’Reilly and Nunes to start. Until then he refused to use actual fullbacks. Once akanji got back he shoved him straight back into the starting XI which gave us unnecessarily trouble vs a team like Fulham.Liverpool won one title and were out done by us repeatedly. In their worst season they were out of the CL. We had just won four in a row and our bad year sees us finish third. That's why people are retaining faith. It could have been much worse, without Pep and a huge investment in Jan maybe it would have been. Pep wants a high quality squad the same as the rest of us. He doesn't want a huge group that means people get left out. It causes friction, it causes rifts and it makes his job a lot harder than it needs to be.
If he was 27 and not 29 I could see that. I mean he could still be an option but I don’t think the club will do that.i like munoz from palace, after the game pep gave him a look that got me thinking mmm we might be interested in him, might of been nothing, but he is a very impressive fullback good quality, quick and can run all day
rodriGvardiol? Dias? Marmoush?
Feel like we need that 1 player that is gonna really move the dial for us. So add Rodrigo to that and it’s a brilliant window. Imagine Haaland, Rodrigo and Marmoush up front next season. That’s insane numbers.Air Nouri
Livramento (maybe)
Reijnders
Gibbs white
Costa ( if Ederson goes)
I’d take that for a summer window rebuild. If Pep needs a position we will do business in January then like we did for Laporte.
Results and trophies suggest otherwiseOf course i concede that they do.
Although, I'd argue, that Haaland aside, they've not made a signing that has improved our starting 11 since the summer of 2017.
