I think to call it a couple of good weeks is really unfair. I think we’ve won 7 and drawn 3 of our last 10 league games. And Bernardo in tandem with Kova in centre mid in the semi final at Wembley was one of the most impressive performances I’ve witnessed all season.True but most fans are fickle and have spent most of the season hammering Bernardo and Gundogan (wtih good reason) for being past it etc but now a couple of good weeks and its all fine? We will always remember these two with huge fondness but they need gone! Dont forget as well that Bernardo has wanted out for two seasons as well?

Sounds like we found a real bargain at £5m. If Akanji stays it means that Khusanov, Reis and Bah would be 4th, 5th and 6th choice CBs. For their development, I think Akanji should find himself a new club. It would be an awful mistake to potentially lose Khusanov, for only to fit in Akanji who`s shown he`s not good enough time and again. Khusanov looks like he could be one of our best CBs ever IMO, and I hope Pep puts him back in the squad quickly
