We can't do it this window. Who comes out? The idealistic scenario would have been to keep Palmer so we didn't need to buy a Non HG option like Savinho, but that's been and gone and the Club obviously didn't think Palmer was good enough for us. I just think Savinho needs time, people still forget he's only 21. Where was Salah at 21?

I agree with that. Football fans in the modern day are completely mad. Saw a lot of our fans slating Cherki on social media after the game v Wydad. You simply can't have a bad game or any time to develop in this day and age. Players like Sane, Sterling, Mahrez and Bernardo who didn't start playing well until 6-8 months in would be chased out of the club by the fans on social media.
People want instant results and can't wait until tomorrow. Players like Doku and Savinho need time to be coached and developed. If Pep and his coaching staff could get the numbers they did out of Sterling, I'm sure they can do even better with Doku and Savinho who for me are both technically superior footballers.

Salah was at Basle at 21 and was 1 goal every 2.9 games that season (10 goals in 29 appearances).

Savinho at City is 1 goal every 23 games for us (2 goals in 46 games).

Incomparable!!

Basel? They don't even play in a major European league.

Savinho had 9 goals and 10 assists in 37 games for Girona and led them to a 3rd position, impressing so much Madrid and Barcelona took an interest in him.

Savinho should have easily had 10 goals last season. He got into great areas and picked the wrong option or couldn't finish the chance. How many times did he hit the post last season? It will come. He's 21 years old. In a few years if he's still producing those numbers I'll agree with you, but patience is needed.

He needs a loan away, nowhere near ready to do the heavy lifting for us if we want to win championships

I never said he would be anywhere near Salah, but not many players are near Salah. He's one of the best wingers in Prem history.

He had a loan away and was one of the best players in La Liga. So let's say you loan him out, who do you bring in to replace him?

La Liga is one of the best leagues in the world. People forget that coming to England/English football is a culture shock. The league is completely different to La Liga where you have more time on the ball. You're having to adjust to the lifestyle, the pace of the league and adjust to Pep's system.

It takes time. I actually thought we saw glimpses of a top quality player at times last season. He's clearly a very talented player.

Who should we go for? Leao? Every winger not named Mbappe, Salah, Kvaratskhelia is inconsistent and not top class.
Munich has been looking for an LW until now - everyone their interested in has been inconsistent because there are no better options out there.
