It's Quiet the £250m return

If Nico leaves for less than 50m something has to give.
We had Gundo, Silva and Kovacic losing the ball regularly but were forced into the lineup. Nico had one bad game vs Everton and was never seen again. It’s not like the other options are better either.
We won’t buy anyone to replace him too. Really poor management once again.
I won’t be surprised if in January we’re looking at another injury crisis and wondering what we could’ve done differently. One injury to Rodri and/or Reijnders and we’re back to square one.

That’s some crystal ball you have

Romano vs Bajkowski

I’m going to take a guess agent had said that to Romano as Nico hasn’t had much game time. Plus it’s a World Cup year

Then the club have given that brief back to Bajkowski that he’s going no where.

Worth noting Mendes is Nico’s agent , Mendes is close with Romano

To be fair, they are not exactly contradicting each other. One is saying that the club could be open to sell him if a good offer arrives, the other one is saying that the club is not trying to sell him.

My take is that the club is not actively trying to get rid of Nico but if another club would offer us our money back we would consider it. Given that we have a non-homegrown problem in the squad and for that reason wont immediately dismiss decent offers for non-homegrown players who are struggling to even get minutes on the pitch.

Thought Viana was close to Mendes too?

You know what though, regardless of where the truth exactly lies on the Nico rumours, it’s still fucking barmy we could spend circa £50mil on a player in Jan that is not now necessarily wanted.

Only at City, lol.
