It's Quiet the £250m return

It's also not helped by the images of him on the piss at the back end of the season - regardless of whether that's 'problem drinking' or not, it's. It a good look.

Added to the fact that everyone knows we want shot, hardly conducive to making a quick sale. Someone will loan him late in the window
Pretty obvious that buying clubs are aware of his problems. Whatever they are.

How so mate?
Basically how we were playing towards the end of last season and we topped the form table from that point onwards.

Midfield 2 of much weaker players in Bernardo, Kovacic, a 19 year old midfielder at LWB, an over the hill KDB in the 10 etc,

Could do with a pacey centre half to lead the back line ahead of Dias but I think we’d compete for the title and beyond with that team.

Even as a ‘pisspot’ he’s still a better player. Besides didn’t David silva like a good drink? He could handle his beer a bit better though ;)
Apart from heating about it from Micah Richards, how many other times have we heard about David being pissed up? How many times has he been papped falling out of clubs?

The issue with Jack is probably the way it looks more than anything, but for someone who clearly spends a bit of time on his appearance you'd think he'd realise that.

If we can get a fit and motivated grealish this season that would help. We could have 60 plus games to fulfill! Need 25 players at it
Exactly, which is a big "if" on both:
a. Even following minor injuries, it takes time for Jack to get on form,
b. Motivation? He was seen running in Greece the summer before the treble season, he wanted to arrive as ready and fit as possible before preseason. Was his mindset the same, did he take good care of himself after the end of that season? I don't think so...

A great talent, my only concern regarding Jack was always related to his ambition and focus on football. We have paid a fortune to get him, Pep has said repeatedly that he has fought for him, certainly believes in his talent (even if there is definitely room for improvement), the fans love him, he has a good heart, a genuinely nice guy. In his maturity, he would be able to provide quality solutions everywhere in the AM area (apparently in the middle too, 100%)...

If (again, the magic word) Jack could be trusted, I don't think there would be any discussion regarding MGW, for example. He did not travel to the US, apparently the manager wanted people 100% committed in the dressing room, especially following a tough season. Quite understandably. And now City will have a difficult time letting him go, given his wages. The club has been very generous towards him...

I've seen people wondering whether there is still a last chance for him. Nothing is impossible, of course, but I don't know. I'm sure he has friends in the dresssing room (why shouldn't he?), we all read Erling's words missing him upon arriving in America etc. But we have also read what Rodrigo has said about him in the recent past -and I'm sure he likes him too. When you go to war, you need people you can rely on (Bernardo's words). That's where we were / are, on / off the pitch, unfortunately it won't change anytime soon. If he goes, Jack has definitely not reached his full potential playing for City. Good luck to the boy, but it's a fucking pity...

As I said, silva was a good drinker and could handle it a bit better (based on the stories from ex players). He also wasn’t constantly followed around by the media.

The midfield is extremely attacking and I’m not convinced by Dumfries as a defender. No doubting it would be an exciting line-up though.
Gvardiol, Dias and Rodri stopping the counters and a lot of pace in Ait-Nouri, Dumfries and Reijnders are all quick players so could make recovery runs. I think we'd actually be better defensively than we currently are with that team. Although thats not exactly difficult at the minute
