Gvardiol, Dias and Rodri stopping the counters and a lot of pace in Ait-Nouri, Dumfries and Reijnders are all quick players so could make recovery runs. I think we'd actually be better defensively than we currently are with that team. Although thats not exactly difficult at the minute

Only because he’s usually in the oppo box when a counter starts.

If he was told to play like Walker, sitting on the halfway line like a 3rd CB, he’d be great at it IMO - but we’d lose him in attack.

Well hopefully with Marmoush,Haaland Cherki a renewed Foden and Reijnders getting into the box, Ait Nouri getting up and down, to supply, he won’t need to join the attack so much.

I'm not ruling out Grealish ending up staying with us at this rate.

His wages are absolutely ridiculous, any club outside of the PL will likely offer us a loan option with them only paying £100k a week of his £300k a week salary.

You might as well keep him for the HG quota if that's the case.

I would guess the next 2 weeks we will see more going. McAtee technically if we have a bidding war for him all good. As for Grealish London and Jack liking to party most London teams be like too risky. Would he go to a European club can they afford him. Or even Saudi. Gundogan is he going or staying. I think he could be a great coach in years to come.

Unfortunately Grealish has not made himself a desirable commodity. High wages, barely played for the last 2 seasons, and has a questionable at best lifestyle.

Bar McAtee, Hugo has got some task on his hands shifting the undesirable players out.

I think we're caught between a rock and a hard place with regards to any more incoming transfers. Very little outgoing news except Mcatee who will definitely go, then it's the others like Phillip's, Grealish, Stones?, Ake? who it all seems so quiet over.
