It's Quiet the £250m return

I think I probably would too, but there’s not really any need to disrespect our players either.
Fair enough.. I don't rate him.

I don't think kova is anywhere close to Rodri's level so if room has to be made.. I'd rather he go and new guard be given time to grow.

These new Nico O'Reilly moving on rumors are extremely annoying but I just want them to stay rumors. Imo we have to learn from our mistakes and give him a pathway to the first team now and not have another Cole Palmer situation. What's done is done, but not again!

And I wouldn't mind Mukasa and McAidoo in the team either especially as we need to replace KDB's creativity and that's not happening with just 1 player alone.

A couple of 100 pages back I posted this.. and it's pretty simple we needed to get rid of 4 foreign players:

Everyone has their own take on it, but if:

Ederson
Akanji
Gundo
+1 more go, we're set.

If more than 4 go, we can bring in another foreign player as the hard cap is 17 max.
It sounds like Ederson is gone

My guess is Echeverri and Reis will end up on loan, and Gundo will probably leave as well.

Do Savinho and Khusanov count towards the foreign quota since they are 21 and under, or have I misunderstood the rule?

Also wouldn't surprise me if one of Kova or Nunes leaves if they get an offer they like in the last two weeks of August and Saudi or another team gets desperate and comes calling for them

4 out imo should be..
1. Ederson (loved him but Trafford is a perfect replacement)
2. Akanji (no more Gvardiol at LB)
3. Gundogan (Reijanders is the perfect replacement)
4. Kovacic (his did his job well but we need room for the others)

I'd like Bernardo to go too but its unlikely and to be fair he is a decent CM when he is focused.

This year imo should be about creating a defensive platform to allow the best from Haaland, Marmoush, Doku, Cherki, Foden, Savinho, Bobb and Echeverri. Loads of attacking talent if Pep can find a way to allow them to have space and freedom.

My 1st choice signing is a new English CB who is fast and no nonesense. 2nd choice is a new English right back who is fast and no nonesense.

I've no idea if England has fast and no nonesense defenders. (I hate the 17 foreigner limitation rule)

Guehi is fast

Loan 3 players to each CFG European club, and the problem will be solved.

Spain , Italy, France and maybe Brazil.

Let them spend the last year of their remaining contract in one of these beatiful countries.

He’s currently better than Ake and Stones simply because they can’t actually make it on the pitch very often
When you have 7 CBs, the value of being more widely available is greatly diminished as a selling point. We have more minutes to spread around such that Ake's and stones' occasional minutes are right around what you can afford to give them anyway. And their ability when they can play is greater than akanji's.

Ederson is looking increasingly likely to leave. Even if one of Akanji/Gundogan remain, I can see Reis & Echeverri going out on loan, which frees up the space we need for a right back.
No it wouldn't.
We have 4 too many right now.
In your scenario 4 would leave but then if we brought in a non HG right back, we'd have 1 too many again

If we sign trafford do we then not need to sign a HG right back?
Till another HG player leaves, any new HG player will count as NHG anyway.

We are 4 over in the NHG list. Signing a HG player puts us 5 over, but then it can replace one of the HG list.

So a HG right back makes no difference, we still need to ship people out.

Trafford is Club Trained. So he takes uo neither HG or NHG slot. Ederson leaving frees up one NHG spot though.

Think Ederson, Akanji and Gundogan will be sold, with Echeverri and Reis going out on loan. Allows us to bring in one more foreign signing.
Obviously figures don't lie but we always seem on the cusp or worse with foreign squad numbers but other teams seem to be constantly hoovering up players from around the world without any care to that problem.

Apart from Chelsea I don't think anyother team has an unregistered list.

If we are using list on previous page, then none of Phillips, Walker or Grealish would be named in the squad anyway so that has us with 3? So room straight away.
Sure, but Still need to find a move for Grealish. And Phillips too, but I wasn't counting him anyway.

Any combination of these players could/should/will leave for various reasons and this list excludes new players being loaned out. Ederson, Ortega, Ake, Stones, Nunes, Phillips, Kova, Gundo, Akanji, Grealish, Mcatee. Some will leave and won’t need replacing others will and will need replacing. It will be one out none in or one out one in depending on who goes. In an ideal world I would be happy for all the above to go and Liveramento and fast CB to come in

I wonder if Kovacic, Gundogan, Ederson and Akanji left we would go for another midfielder? Wharton maybe, or Gibbs White?

I think Grealish is going to be the hardest one to sell. His wages is the major stumbling block for other clubs.
