I think the truth lies in the middle.

I don't see a scenario where we run away with the title outside of Arsenal and Liverpool completely capitulating. I think they have caught up to us talent-wise, and I still feel we need an RB and a CM if Gundo and others leave.

But I still feel we have the better manager and the more experienced squad at least today, which will be crucial in the later stages of the season.

I think we finish second or third in a close race, but we also end up having a very young squad that could take the big leap the year after.

I don't think the club are happy. But I do think we screwed up. Now we need to fix it. I will wait and see if we've done enough...

You don't think we have a title challenging squad at the moment? Haaland, Rodri, and Gvardiol could go missing in the woods and I'd still consider us as "title challengers."

Personally I'd rephrase this to title favorites if we signed a RB of the highest level (or if somehow we can get massive progress from Nunes, Khusanov, or Rico). We're in the hunt regardless. Toss up between us, Assnal, and the Scouse as it stands.

Not getting Wirtz made some people here really mad thst it turned into „ he ain’t special and needs to adapt“
