This summer is a mess. Wants a smaller squad, wants a rebuild yet everyone stays. We buy players for 40M and loan them out. Apparently no young player is good enough but they are good enough for Barca, Madrid and whoever.
Yamal and Pedri would most likely be loaned out to Girona too.
People don’t seem to understand that this is making us look worse on the market for future young talents who know that they definitely won’t be getting a chance - just because. I also feel like we always sell our players for less they are worth and let them go for free for no reason. Like the club should make it clear that some certain players are going to be used less.

No mate I’m just saying how other top blues respond when people want the club to go after big names like Bruno G, Neves, Rodrygo etc that’s what they say. It’s not FIFA. But it looks like what Pool are doing
 
We have to bite the bullet and make proper changes.

Even when we had a fully fit squad we were overrun by pace & physicality in midfield and defence.

Hopefully we've gone some way to sorting the backline out and addressed the keepers position but, the midfield is bloated....we either dilly dally about or move players on to freshen us up.

There's too many old guard lads still here. I love them all, great memories etc but it's time to go. If that means paying them off then just do it.

It's not like we're losing money if there's no takers but, they have to go for Pep 2.0 to have a chance.

In a part of one season in the last decade we were overrun in defence and midfield.
That period coincided with our worst period for injury and illness during Pep's tenure.
It also came after achieving an unprecedented fourth title in four years.

I believe that the idea that we suddenly need even more dramatic change over-emphasised.
We will see the return of the winner of the Ballon d'Or and the return of Oscar Bobb, without doing anything else.
To that, we have added the Bundeliga's leading forward (Marmoush).
An attacking midfielder described as one of only two magicians in French football.
A gifted midfielder - player of the season for a historic European club.
A central defender boasting some of the best U23 stats in the world's top leagues.

I could go on.
We have also changed much of the coaching setup.
There are still three weeks left in the transfer window.

Just enjoy the ride.

The windows hasn’t shut yet

Do you think the club don’t want to get rid of players especially the older ones

The Kovacic stuff is a bit confusing. If you've had saudi clubs come in for him, you need space in the squad you've already got Nico whos younger , Gundo and Reijnders why do you need to keep Kova?

So many people seem to think football is determined on a spreadsheet, over a summer window, and decided on paper, to one singular formula combination.

With the Saudi clubs I am not so sure, they like to just be in the media. Or they might be offering us some nominal fee and I think pep would rather keep around a trusted experienced option unless it's something silly.
