I've already explained I don't think Rodrygo is that much of a step up from Savinho to sell him on with all the potential he has. But yeah if he wants out I'd get rid.

Rodrygo (only 24) is an elite street fighter kind of player - Sav? End of.

Donna is only 26 - known of him for 8 years already! 2nd ever youngest GK in serie A history at 16, Became youngest ever Italy No1 at 17. Love Eders he will always be dyed in a City history but come on ffs

There are parts of Donnurummas game that are better than Ederson, there are parts of Edersons game better than Donnurumma. Overall not much in it IMO . Rodrygo over Savinho probably less of an argument.

Its all about mentality. Think that ends the debate in my book. We need players here for the future then Pep would have finished the job . . .

Well yes that's what it comes down to in the end, we need players that want to be here for the next few seasons ,can't argue with that.

Also looking at the base requirements of the position in question - GK, really do want a superb shot stopper/ penalty saver. Amount of shoot outs we are involved in vrs worlds best teams- it's a massive margin swinger
 
Most people seem to think it’s a done deal to get Rodrigo if Savinho leaves.
Maybe, but there has been background noise about us talking to Vinicius Jr too, and I have a sneaky feeling he would be the replacement.
Moaning, snidey, cheating tw*t, but undeniably a better talent and has had some major problems with racism in La Liga the last few years ..

So looking at today's lineup

3 in midfield
Nico Bernardo and Reijnders

And the 2 wingers Bobb and Doku

I'm sure Cherki will come on and it will be interesting to see who he replaces.

But the bottom line is we have plenty of wide players without Savinho

Would not be shocked if its Bobb 10, Bernardo RW though

Or even Reijnders 10, Bobb RW

Feel like it'll be 4-2-3-1 a lot this season, cherki at 10 once he's up to speed.
