It's Quiet the £250m return

I think there’s been a lot of overreaction to the defeat on Saturday.
If Marmoush takes that chance (Vicarious save), then the game would have been different.

Clearly we lack pace and physicality at the back and introducing Khusanov will help ease some of that.

I don’t know what anyone else’s perception is of Dias new contract extension, but although the defence hasn’t been a settled and consistent back four, he for me has been poor for a while.

If there’s any truth in Guehi being on the radar, I’d be all for it.

A rear guard of Donnarumma, Khusanov, Guehi, Gvardiol and Ait Nouri would be solid enough for me, especially with Rodri in front of them.

Ditch the inverted full back and let the attacking players do their thing.

Not sure we need a replacement for Savinho all told, but if one should present itself then do it.

Onwards and upwards.
Spot on mate well said

Might not like this suggestion but Mainoo? Just been briefed he's considering his options? Would add some physicality to our midfield and he's homegrown? Plus the rags faces would be a picture
Funniest post of the day goes to you. Might be of the week actually.

Got a good feeling Dontherummin will happen.

Traffe looked edgy and scared as fuck whilst Eddy looked bored and pissed as fuck not to mention a bit scruffy which from my master's in human behavior (and basic common sense) tells me he's not keen on being here to wind down his contract splitting time with Traffe and is ready to push the boat out of the canal for good.

Page was purchased recently so ran by new people. Been first on an absurd number of leaks this summer and been accredited by a few insiders. Ornstein included.

Definitely not what it used to be in years back.

Don't shoot the messenger. Is it Guehi's agent trying to get Liverpool to pay up? Who fucking knows. But I expect it will be posted by the Romano's of the world in the next 24 hours.
If it's right and we're in for him, it doesn't make sense unless we're getting rid of another defender as well as Akanji. Khusanov should be next in line.

Guess it depends on the level of agitation. Savinho is a kid so I reckon that situation will be fine. But with Ederson it is a bit of a worry. as per my reply to @Coatigan I think City should've dealt with the Eddie situation one way or the other earlier in the window.
We've really got ourselves hamstrung on showing too much patience to the treble etc winners.

Very hard though as those guys have brought us unprecedented success so think we all have to take it on the chin atm

I think we won the most points over the last 6-7 weeks of the season after the Dippers had all but secured the title & Arsenal had secured 2nd, & both were concentrating on the CL.

We won the points without having to face a top team, & it was the manner of our performances that still gave me cause for concern.
We finished a point below Arsenal they hadn’t secured 2nd
We had some high pressure must win games away at Fulham Everton Tottenham Bournemouth and Forest ( cup) we beat Villa and Palace at home in must win games
We actually got it together when we needed to

How'd the Vini Jnr transfer go they quoted a few weeks back?

More big insiders hopping on the Guehi to City interest. Apparently players first choice is Liverpool but they're dragging their feet at the moment. City have made a move to Palace for him. Indifferent on this but if it means weakening Liverpool I'm all for it. I think Madrid are in for Konate, and Virgil is old as balls. Could be a spot of bother for them the near future. They have a couple young talents but no guaranteed quality.

Surely all but confirms the departure of a few of our older lads.

Hope this is true, he’d be a cracking signing. I’ve wanted us to get him for ages.

He said that Vini has been in secret talks with Man City as the player considers a move away from Madrid. Said player is keen on a Premier League move for this or next summer. I couldnt tell you have the talks went as they were "secret."

But I can tell you that Vini was benched yesterday for the first time in a while so I would say it was a true leak. He cannot be happy with that.

Donnarumma is in the top three goalkeepers in the world, he's far superior to Ederson.

Bravo was also supposed to be elite with his feet.

It's a complete fallacy Donnarumma is poor with his feet, he's just not Ederson.

The best goalkeepers have an aura about them and Donnarumma has it in spades.

He will make mistakes just like every other keeper, but he will save us double digit points.

Can't wait to see him.

This Indy lad. He's been spot on all summer. Page apparently ran by 5 big transfer folk. I do sense a Liverpool bias on the page however. So that could explain the "Player wants LFC" portion. But also would understand from a playing time perspective if this was true. But I have no doubts we are interested after this.
That would make 5 centre backs bought since 2023. Gvardiol, Khusonov Reis, Bah now Guehi And the club still value Dias (contract till 2029) and Stones Ake Akanji (none of been shown the door)

I don’t see this happening. It’s just media talk to speed up the move and get better terms.

It's absolutely bollocks lol

Could be for sure mate. However, I believe the politics of Madrid are draining for a player. And he's probably not enjoyed the role of playing third fiddle to newer players like Kylian and Jude. And him being benched last match is a tell tale sign that things are going on behind the scenes. Plus, the prem is an attractive destination after winning it all in another country no?

Yes, of course could be bullocks. But I doubt this page would put the elite reputation they've garnered this summer on the line over a silly fake post. It would have been more shocking to me if things did come out regarding Vini until next summer.

We can't. He's been slated on here for ages, including by myself. I can't change my mind!! But you're right, their faces would be priceless.

He's fucking shite..slow as fuck..no positional sense..Lewis gets some crap off our fans on here but he's a much better player than Mainwho

However, I would also point out that PSG would still have Donnarumma if they didn’t want to cut his pay.

So what you’re saying is PSG have heard his contract demands, decided it’s way too much and he’s not worth it, and we’re going to pay that plus a signing on fee and £40m fee.
