It's Quiet the £250m return

I didn’t see the game yesterday but reading this forum, does a RB solve our problems? Yes will help if an improvement on what we have, but top 6 finish is what we have

It would help, but we have a few problems - hopefully some that can be ironed out through match fitness & players gelling and correct subs & strategy; some are more mental, as we collectively shit the bed when the intensity increases.

issue is selling players to register that RB

we need to sell one more player - Akanji probs

Am I missing something or can we simply not register excess players in any of the competitions?

Not that it's ideal but if someone wants to go full Winston Bogarde and sit on their arse for the remainder of their contract then I'll take that over compromising our team building because we can't shift the ****.

We should be focusing on the big picture, not one position.

The spine of our side could be Donnarumma, Stones, Rodri, Reijnders, Cherki or Foden and Haaland.

I am not sure about Cherki/Foden but the re-build is well underway.

we could stone cold refuse to register them and tell them to find another club where window is still open

13th in the league, below the rags (amongst others) been beaten twice in 3 games already, playing as bad if not worse as last season, new heir to the throne and new signing injured for 2 months at least and no right back at the club........... the wheels have well and truly come off over the last 18 months and Pep cant sort it.

Money no object, you can sign one player on deadline day to 'fix' our problems. Short term or long term.

Who would it be?

The spine used to be Ederson, prime Stones, prime Dias, Rodri, David Silva, de Bruyne and Aguero.

Or Hart, Kompany, Fernandinho, Yaya, David Silva, Sergio Aguero.

And that's forgetting a whole load of players.

Pretty fucking huge drop off if you ask me.

When did the wheels come off a season in the same month it started - 3 games in? 3 games!

Its horrible mate but we were talking about it over the last two years as it was slowly becoming obvious!

How can Stones be in any spine, with his injury record, you will see when he go to play for England and get's injured.
Gvardiol needs to be in spine of team.
