There is of course also the option of signing someone and not register the 3 players mentioned regardless if they leave before the window closes or not.In order to able to register everyone in our squad then 2 of Ortega, Akanji and Gundogan must leave. If all 3 go then we have an additional foreign spot.

No one else was in the running because we tied him down. Reports of him agreeing personal terms weeks ago. If we hadn't there would have been clubs all over Europe ready to pounce including our neighbours.Given that nobody else is in the running, I'd guess Donnarumma would be available at that time.

I got absolute pelters for posting about Pep and Viana had had teeting problems and Peps outburst about if i dont get a smaller squad i`ll leave was then dealt with by Khaldoon because Pep used to tell Txiki what the plan was until Viana put his vision and ideas into place and Pep wasnt happy. That all came about in the chairmans suite after the Bournemouth game when after a few extra celebratory champagnes, a board member was discussing it randomly? First thing i was questioned on was source etc whoch was my brother in the room at the time and quite a few being taken back by this random revelation by a slightly elated tipsy board member who blurted it out? No recording though, no video but he text me straight away and then Pep had his outburst but the following week had claimed he was joking when if you watch his press conference he obviously wasnt! Khaldoon had to step in and sort that out but there will be no actual evidence of that.

That’s what Slbsn said due to wages. If they have to go it’s going to have to be quick because 6.5 hours doesn’t leave a long time to sign someone/medical even if they do go. Whoever it is incoming must be all done bar players leaving?Still active.
We need the planned outgoings to leave.

If what you say is true and I’ve no reason to question it then I think we can see why on the pitch it’s all going wrong, if the person buying players is getting the wrong type in for the mangers philosophy then it’s one or the other leaves.Thats your opinion though mate and you are entitled to it. Well we weren't likely to make any more meaningful signings this late anyway. Absolutely no chance if we need to shift players first.

Pep refuses to change mate imo and other teams have worked it out. Many laughed at Arteta signing ball playing giants and mixing it up but seemingly he has worked out if he only plays and copies the Pep way it wont work? Arsenal now have both ways of playing if required whereas we dont.

As a fan and outsider who knows nothing of the inside dealings, this squad management situation looks a fucking farce.
Under 6.5 hours to go and we're scrambling around trying to get 3 senior players to go, and it appears we've been hamstrung on signing players in crucial positions because of this.
Honestly what the fuck have those responsible been doing all summer?

No chance, I’d rather play with 10. At least then we haven’t got the added risk of him fucking something up.At this rate keeping Akanji and playing him right back for a season makes more sense.

one big lesson is despite great players for us for years we need to move them on while they have little bit to offer but not much.
Real Madrid got huge fees for Casemiro and Varane when they sensed they are about to fall off a cliff. even Liverpool managed to find buyers for Henderson, Fabinho who were both past it.
we maybe did it a year too early with Mahrez and Laporte especially.
but we should have done it with Gundo, Bernardo, Ederson, Akanji etc and we didnt and now left in this strange situation with them that they bring in very little fees overall while causing a delay on our rebuild.
it should have us moving them on rather than them dictating when they had enough...
but Txiki didnt care much with our recruitment and forward planning since the treble did he...
