100% agree. Our signings since 2023 have either been a combination of negligence, arrogance or poor scouting. Or lack of ambition as we’ve signed players no top club would have signed - but us. Add to that we’ve given huge salaries to players (Marmoush on £295k a week is criminal) we’ve signed, and offered new contracts to poorer performers (Dias, Lewis). That is absolutely a reason to keep them, its them or nothing and a smaller squad. Last season should have made every city fan fully aware that we need as large of a squad as possible. O'Reilly also came on in yesterday. So they are taking up squad space ie they are in the 20 man squad.
So they are taking up spots.
Yeah because they are u21 means they don't need registering but that's not a reason to keep them.
