I understand this is your first year on the transfer forum but try and chill out. It’s a bit of fun in the main, not everything has to be a serious conversation.
I mean, you call Stones wank at least 10 times a day and I’m not quite sure what you get out of that?

i was about to post this exact thing with a twist of stfu, ‘we want to know’...... then I remembered chill, there is no clown under the bed!

Calm down sweetheart.
How can you be certain KK will be the best defender we've ever signed? Why are we the only ones in for him if he's as brilliant as you make out?
How can you make such a leap in logic and then claim Carlos will not be good? Crazy logic

The only way to get a sense of a player and whether or not he could be a good fit, is looking at their history. Koulibaly took care of Liverpools front trio with ease and has been the best defender in Italy the past 4-5 years. There’s no doubt he’d take us to the next level.

Then you have Diego Carlos, who had one good season at Sevilla. One. That would be a huge gamble for us.

Had you ever heard of Koulibaly before 2-3 years ago? I would wager most on here hadnt and neither had you

Arsenal's new centre half made 2 mistakes in the first half both nearly leading to goals (and possibly should have) and yet he has just scored with a header - its all just fun so calm down

Koulibaly aint premiership proven either and he plays in a more defensive league as well.

IF we do get Carlos over Koulibaly thats what happens. He is younger by 4 years

Christ, premiership proven... He shined against the champions of England.
And Carlos is 28 by March next year, Koulibaly 30 in June, that’s not 4 years younger.

IF we do get Carlos over Koulibaly thats what happens. He is younger by 4 years just as good inthe air and just as strong int he tackle - he aint no slouch either (i suggest you go and watch a few of his videos) - he aint walker or Ake quick but he aint Otamendi slow either.

You sound like you need to take a break from thinking about transfers tbh
Carlos is absolutely dogshit and he is 2 years younger

In a very defensive team....you talk about VVD (and no doubt he is a very good centre half) - but he would look very different playing in our team compared to Liverpools where he has 3 midfielders sitting in front of him protecting the back 4.

I thought Carlos was 25 so apologies if i got that wrong but the point remains the same - still younger and more years in him

Watch him often do you?

you clearly know more than Txixi or pep then...maybe you should drop them an email to let them know

For christ sakes its one small report and people are losing their shit over it.

It could be absolute bollocks

Point is, if it's true, are Carlos, Laporte, Ake, Stones, Better than Stones. Otamendi, Fernandinho, Garcia. If Yes we are better than last year, so all all good.

Of course we didn’t want to. Koulibaly is the only central defender in the world who would have a similar effect to our defence as Van Dijk had to Liverpool.

So we’re about to spend 60-70m on an unproven central defender? Perfect, just what we need, another Otamendi. Fucks sake.

If we have had to move on from KK ( and it may not be us regarding Diego Carlos ) then the club will be confident of the player being able to improve the defence and strengthening the team .

Whilst KK is likely to be the prime target, there will be others under review in the event of the signing not coming off.

And every transfer has the possibility of not being 100% successful for a whole variety of reasons.
