City's defence last season was inept. We managed to get 80 plus points because our offensive game and ability to keep the ball was so good, but you can't win much in the game when you are liable to concede a goal to the first serious counter-attack

its how we play.

we put away our chances the defence wont matter, take the Southampton game , i think it was 26 shots at goal, and we didnt score one, the way we play we will always concede chances because the reward is greater than the risk, however we need to be more clinical

Aké isn't playing on the right of Laporte, I don't know why anyone thinks he would.

Our defence was an issue, and I can't believe I have to say this again, but you keep replying with the same thing because Laporte was injured for six months.

If Ake isn't playing on the right (and I doubt he will either) then absolutely we need to buy another central defender because Fernandinho isn't the answer and we can't rely on Stones any more.

We effectively have Ake and Laporte on the left and Garcia on the right, and then it looks bare. Not enough.

KDB can't control a game?

I think so but I’m bot a Pep. The logic is that KDB looks for the killer pass or cross, Silva looked for space in but also slowed the game at times whereas KDB is more aggressive in his passing.

I dont think Thiago had any interest in coming to us. It seem to have been the dippers or no one all summer.

I don't doubt Txiki and Pep spoke about it but perhaps Pep just can't see a position for him.

Not if Thiago had no interest in playing for Pep again, and wanted something new, like Ornstein reported a few months ago?
