Yeah I genuinely do.

We scored the most goals and always do, with or without Aguero as it’s down to the system.

We conceded 2 more than Liverpool.

We are are stronger than last season and I personally think other teams strengthening helps City rather than hindering us. Last season, very few clubs took points from Liverpool which was part of the system and reason behind the 18 points gap. The more teams that can actually take them on, the better.

I get tired of the most goals, second least conceded argument. We lost 9 games and we deserved to lose almost all of them. I want to see the team go toe to toe against the best teams, not smash the bottom six teams 5-0 then fold when they come up against a team with a good counter attack.

As it stands I think we'll remain the flat track bullies of last season without improvement at centre back.

This window has been an absolute disaster!

last season we were 18 points off liverpool, knocked Out of the champions league by lyon, beaten but arsenal in the FA cup...

since then we have lost david silva and Leroy sane and signed two players that let’s be honest will do the job but are not going to be world beaters by any stretch of the imagination!

we still have otamendi and stones at the club and have really messed up the signing of koulibaly due to personal pride issues!

Liverpool have strengthened massively with the single signing of Thiago!

pep will be leaving next summer and we are going to be in an even more dyer situation than we are now

But but David Silva was part of the problem and Jesus is stepping up this year also Ake can play left back and Cancelo played well against Norwich. Rodri will find 5 yards of pace from somewhere and actually Gundogan is better than Thiago. Sane never played and so we didn’t miss him either. Oh and we have Garcia for one more year before he goes to Barca so we are gonna be fine at the back. Apparently

I think how many goals we score is miss leading. If we won every game 1-0 we win the league. The fact we hammer some teams shouldn’t disguise that we lost 9 games. I don’t see what has happened transfer wise to stop us losing those 9.
Well we won’t have Silva walking around not pressing their DM’s and allowing balls over the top for a start.

We also shouldn’t be missing Laporte for 31 games. And if we are, we won’t have to play Otamendi in his stead.

For some, every signing an opponent makes is a worldy, while our signings are just squad players. They are the type that are working their way to dying, rather than being alive.

See above but I don’t think we are done in the transfer market so it’s moot for me.

Cancelo played well against Norwich? 60m on a player who had a couple of decent games at the back end of the season against crap teams, and all our problems are solved !!! LOL
