He will not likely feature now that City have considerable depth at CB, no logic to play a player who wants to leave as a result

No idea how his performances were noticably worse since Pep announced he was off when we already know the 1st half against Leicester he was arguably the best player on the pitch.

That last point is a myth.

I watched the game, and to me it seemed pretty clear Ake was the best City player on the pitch.

But arguing over whoever wins the ‘best of a bad bunch for half a game’ trophy is a waste of time. It was a shite performance, and Garcia got progressively worse as the game went on - to the point that by midway through the second half he and Mendy were a complete liability, and we were lucky to only concede 5.

On the back of Arsenal and Lyon games - where Garcia was again amongst our worst performers - I have to conclude he’s not dealing with the situation, and is a risk to our team every time he sets foot on the pitch.

And this is from someone who thought he was very good before - despite his obvious physical limitations.

Still negates the premise that somehow he has lost his professionalism as claimed
He lost his professionalism when he was less than truthful with the club with regards to his intentions to leave. If he had of played it straight most of us would have wished him all the best for the future at his new club. You cant have it both ways.

I don't know what game you were watching but stroking the ball about at the back when you're under 0 pressure does not a good player make. As soon as Leicester countered effectively he was horribly exposed. He is consistently being caught out of position or way behind the pace of good teams: Arsenal, Lyon, Leicester. I've watched him plenty now and I don't want him anywhere near City's first XI, it's like handing them a goal or two.

This. He's fucking shit. Nothing to do with wanting to leave or not, he's just not got the right physique for a PL centre back, plus he's slow to go with being about 5ft 6 and 8 stone. Fucking useless. He'd be better off trying to be a midfielder in a slow, technical league.
Cant argue with this, I agree even before he wasnt signing I just felt he wasn't ripping up trees although I just felt I had to keep saying hes ok hes doing well but now hes going i just feel like saying good luck????

I just dont see him as a top CB in the next 5 years but hey?? Look at Gnabry yes different position but can the boy now play

Just wish Mendy fucks off with him hes fucking wank!!!

I hope we do get Tagliafico whilst he isnt everyone's choice he is solid in all departments and with Dias will give our defence the bite it needs at times all so push Mendy a lot more than he has been in recently.

Shush you fool he was the best player on the pitch and a bargain at £20 mill.
