just read ,we were in for him in 2018, he declined our offer because 1. he had to do national service and 2. he was warned a move to a big European club could do more harm than good to his career, he eventually moved to shaktar ,and came on against us in the champions league and scored the equaliser (i cant remember him) he moved to shaktar as a stepping stone, so when the next big club comes in for him will be ready.
maybe us, when he thinks he's ready, it was actually a good decision to move to a smaller league, get more opportunities to play and when he's ready move to the bigger leaguesI was very impressed with him v Scotland last night.
Was going to watch the first 15 minutes , but ended up watching most of it , just to watch him.
Small in stature , but speedy, strong on the ball, good vision. Set pieces very good.
Will be interested to see which big club gets him.
I'm torn,i can see why it would make enormous sense, but would it not hinder our transfer activity elsewhere? and i'd also love us to find our own superstar.Interesting quotes. Hope we still try on January.
Messi has to confirm in January itself if he plans to join us. I think pep's future and club's plans will be dependent on that decision. He will possibly come next season if at all but has to sign a pre contract in January. So I don't see it hampering our transfer activities. Don't forget he will come for free.I'm torn,i can see why it would make enormous sense, but would it not hinder our transfer activity elsewhere? and i'd also love us to find our own superstar.
because Sam lee is Shit and is known to fraternise with the people who hate the club mostNot 100% relevant to the topic but how come it's David Ornstein that got the interview and not Sam Lee? Does the club trust Ornstein more?
