Paul Power - my first childhood hero and my dad's favourite player - think he met him at a cup final a few years back - said he was a lovely bloke as well

Met once at an athletics match, I assume one of his children was competing, and yes, I’d agree, lovely bloke
 
The thing with power was he was more respected by city fans when he actually left us and won the league with the blue dippers

He never really got the credit when he was with us but we realised what we had when it was no longer there

Willie Donachie was my best as The mighty Glynn was just before my time
Remember the game when he scored for everton at maine road & put his hands up in apology
 
Yeah it was at Boro, I was there that day, shithole if a place, can’t remember who the shithouse ref was

I was there too... ran from his own box and it got disallowed for offside! Remember that crook Venables trying to justify it as a correct decision after the game.
