TH does not know, NOBODY knows the figures involved , not even Messi, not even BARCA.

This is a unique situation, you think Messi would come for the fun of it? You think Barca would just let him walk and join us for free?

This will blow our budget and change our plans that have probably been in the pipeline for months.

With respect, we currently have £470m sat in the CFG coffers for something just like this.

As I've said, Messi needs to be taken in isolation for obvious financial reasons and complexities.

He may not even cost us much of a transfer fee if certain players are also included in the equation.

Removing the wages or Vinny, Silva, Bravo and Sane has clawed back the best part of £600k a week so far.

You only have to listen to Khaldoon's interview this evening to see City have exceptions to the desired profile we will also be bringing in.

Wasting your time tolm, this lad has an A-Z of questions and loves throwing an obstacle at everything.

He seems the type to have an argument in an empty room.
I'd walk away right now.

Have you heard any other names or willing to throw a name out there to keep an eye on? Kane? Anyone of such?

Not sure if my boss is an ITK or a KFA but he has told me to make my way 5 nautical miles to the west of the City to somewhere called Barton Aerodrome imminently as Round House has been put into Operation and we are now at DEFCON 3. Mean anything to anyone ?

Just taking the dog for his daily walk past what is now the Manchester Heliport. If I see any posh planes I will know he’s right :)

Thanks for the answer, the players you say Garcia, Angelino , maybe Bernardo?

As long as we still get our original, long term signings good, but it's a hell of a risk in the present climate, and also, if we were to sign him and not able to witness watching Lionel Messi in the flesh in sky blue at the Etihad , it would be heartbreaking.

I still feel Messi will always be thought of as a Barca Icon, whatever he would achieve with us.

I wouldnt swap Bernado for Messi due to age and experience of the league.

Sure it might be cool to have Messi in the team and might be financially viable but Bernado was fantastic in every sense season before last and has time on his side.
Swap him for an aging messi who might struggle in our league? No thanks.
