Apart from being incredibly unrealistic, lets assume he warrants that amount.

He only wants that wage from Bayern.
Assume thats on a 3 year contract = £60m total

His fee wbe £30m ish to bayern.
Give him a signing on fee of £30m.
So total transfer fee is £60m (less than Koulibaly)

Wages of £200k pw on 3 yr contract + £30m sign on fee = £60m

It can be done, but even that is more than we’d need to pay.

I doubt he will be moving from bayern. Just looking for the best deal he can get

Next friday is a reasonable deadline and it’s kind off in line with what people here said: it could and probably will go down to the final week. If everything goes south with Koulibaly, we still have a week to find another alternative. It’s quite obvious it can’t go down to the last day though. If there’s no deal the last day, it’ll be just like last summer when Kompany left - we signed no one.
