Sky just hreaking now saying La Liga will not let Messi leave Spain...

Its a fucking pantomime

Our Lawyers will be all9ver this along with Messi's

Sky now calling him a rebel.

Also pictures showing Messi in Argentine army suit with suit case & union jack & Manchester City on it, that woman on Sky then started laughing

Messi has to come out & put this all to bed.

Tebas & Bat the twat are making Lionel Messi look a barstewerd here it needs both City & Mess's team to come back fighting here unless unless they have it boxed off.

Going to come down to yes you can go but we want £££££
La Liga about to lose there most influential footballer of all time & there money making machine for all there major sponsors.

This is all about £££££££ & they do not want lickle old Man City to have him

I hope we go full throttle & OTT when we know we have him.

Please please dont let this go tits up.

Tolm if we had to pay what could we manage iwo transfer???
Few to many stellas.

I hope I'm wrong, but if feel Barca are going to dig their heals in with this. I feel they are going to take this to the wire, and allow the window to shut.
While I hear what your saying could you imagine Barca paying him a cool million a week to not play hahahah

Any chance all the Messi stuff could just go in the Messi thread?

One easy way to follow is, All the twitter transfer news is in the Messi thread.

This one is Tolmie's thread. Apart from one journo, which originally broke this story - Marcelo Belcher, Tolmie's info had been totally spot on, rest all has been speculation.

I scan for Tolmie 's post here and general transfer twitter news about Messi in the other one.

They must know they cant win,so by not having the meeting they can just ptetend for a bit longer

They are playing the contract enforcement game. Publicly, they've stated he is contracted to them, la liga have backed it, so they just act out the contract, he either shows up or is fined. It forces messi or us to put an offer in, which then confirms their stance. Or to take it to court, which nobody should want.

It is untenable though, and the longer it hoes on the more embarrassing it gets. All messi wants to do is have a proper goodbye seemingly.

As far as Messi is concerned he should refuse any wage. He’s not their player and s such they are playing the game by threatening a reduction/fine, if he reacts or accepts a lesser wage then they have him on a new contract. Ignore it and it adds weight to his belief, in fact his legal team should publicly say that.

If they snub father as they did son, then his legal team will surely do that.
