Agreed re the kid with the mad name. Looks a player.
Only seen him on ytube etc but he looks to have ability going forward & actually defends sometimes !!

Can we all just agree to call him Ryan if he does sign?
OK boss
You don't need to be able to pronounce it on here, just spell it.I think he's done ok, in a shit unit.
Prefer this kid whose name I can't pronounce though

Heard a left back from a French club has been shown round the CFA. I thought they said from Nantes, but checking their squad, I can't see an obvious candidate (one 28yr old left back).
So you heard it here first - we may be interested in a left back who may play in France. Definite ITK status...
You might wanna pick up the phone and tell your kid haha
We can only call him Ryan if we have proof that he shags his relatives. Can we all just agree to call him Ryan if he does sign?
I wonder if Sergio's injury has shuffled priorities this summer and made us more likely to go for a striker/false nine. I want/hope him for to be completely fine but meniscus injuries can be tricky, and it appears he's recovering slightly slower than expected. It wouldn't be surprising at all for it to have knock on effects next season either.
If its true that we are after a false 9 type striker, we should put an £80m bid on Leverkusen's desk tomorrow morning first thing.
Chelsea have been pissing about for weeks, let's see if the kid can be made to see the light and get an old fashioned gazumping in.
He is going to be top draw. He already is.
Maybe my mind is just blanking on me but I honestly can't even remember the last time we went up against another top club for a player and outbid them. KDB in 2015? Maybe Jesus or Mendy after that? Either way, Havertz is worth it, we should do this.I wish. I dont know why City are not trying to Gazump. Kid could fit anywhere in the front line. Is big as well and could play midfield.
I truly believe losing out on Havertz will be one of those "we could have had Hazard" moments.

Ake
Torres
Aouar
Centre Half (koulibaly or Plan B)
Alt Nouri
would be a good summer
Martinez on top of that would be a very good summer - always a risk with this type of transfer, Will he fit in the prem, will he adapt, will he settle? - but that is a risk with the vast majority of players
Plus Yan Couto and Zak Steffan
And there is still the potential of Almada as well
Grelish instead of Aouar or Kane instead of Martinez would for me diminish the transfers for me
I completely agree. And forget looking at the players we've missed out on, just think of the players we wouldn't have signed if we had this policy earlier on. Does anyone think Sergio, David Silva, or Yaya Toure would've been Manchester City players if we hadn't paid top dollar for them? Not everyone is only going to want City. Sometimes you just need to pay the money.KDB was the last I think so. Players weve lost out on in wages/Transfer fee: VVD, Sanchez, Maguire, Jorginho, Mbappe and all of them we pulled out really early... Id say only Maguire, Sanchez and Jorginho went late.
I dont like how we dont like going head to head for players. Some players you have to go head to head with another club to attract. At the end of the day were an attractive club due to our manager, wealth and overall team strategy. But if were being honest a lot of players would rather go to different locations than Manchester and on top of that once Pep leaves its going to be harder to attract the top top talent. We should be doing whatever we can to bring in that top talent right now.
I think anyone who would take Grealish is silly.maybe i am in the minority here but i would take Grealish over Aouar .
and i personally believe anyone that would want Martinez over Kane is being silly . An unproven(to a degree) 22 year old for 100m + or a Englishman in his prime who bangs them in nearly as regularly as Kun for probably around 120m.
Few people douby Kane's ability, his injury record and age are a major concern, far too great a risk for a player that would cost 100m plus.I think anyone who would take Grealish is silly.
As for Martinez v Kane, there are a lot of silly people about.
You don't need to compete with players head to head. If they have their heart set on a move elsewhere, there is no point trying to persuade them to us. It's a bit like begging a girl to go for a coffee with you when she doesn't fancy you, then getting desperate and keep asking. Likewise if they have their heart set on a move to us, you would expect their agents to tell other clubs not to bother.KDB was the last I think so.
