Kolarov was great going forward, but a lazy shocking defender. Similar to Mendy in a lot of areas.I think he’s the best left back we’ve had for a very long time. Unfortunately the ‘gave his all’ image was gone for me at Southampton away when he gave the ball away and walked back as they scored. Would probably still have him in our team

Hands up here. Easily the player I vastly underrated the most during his tenure and during my 11 years as a blue.

Think he had a great game, when I think back the first outfield keeper I saw was Doyle when I think we lost to a very late goal which I think is the only time we've lost with a non-keeper... Gleghorn at least twice, Redmond, Bobby, Quinn, Tueart?, Granville?& Walker...I remember being at that game. If memory serves didnt he make a flamboyant tip over the bar at one point?
