That poster never posts anything different,he is a man now in one of the best teams in the world, fighting for the shirt starts now ,exactly the same as the others,he is past the giving him mins because he is a local kid stage

likewise with you. You always post the same things/ constantly on here. I barely go on forum, unlike yourself, so it’s nice of you to notice

the post was about a player in Fodens position, hence my reply....

Was looking back at my old archived tweets and in February, Blackburn said that “if it isn’t Messi that arrives this summer, it is sure to be another huge name” in regards to Pep wanting to deliver us a CL title. Anyone know if This still sounds feasible In this climate? Who would it be?

we hear them things every summer though and it never materializes? our squad quality seems a way behind Bayern’s anyway and they’ve also added Leroy! :-0

because if we buy a 90 million + player in fodens position it means more then likely he doesnt play. I don’t get that signing at all. Doesn’t matter how well he plays he isn’t going to regularly start ahead of him.

we have a ready made player for that position already. I don’t get the obsession with buying players, when we already have one who is good enough.

you constantly argue about foden and why it’s ok he doesn’t play or possibly gets replaced. Majority of city fans want / are desperate for a talented local player in the first team, why is that so hard to understand.

Foden won’t play number 8 much next season. Pep sees him as a forward at the moment.

David Silva didn’t play number 8 until he was 30.

I get where you're coming from but we had 3 years of it being the end of Sterling from 2016-2019 everytime a new winger was brought in.

If Foden's good enough, works hard enough, and believes in himself, he'll step up. And all the right signs are there. When it came to crunch time this season he was getting games ahead of Mahrez and Bernardo. And unlike those two it's obvious Foden's going to get better.

When have i ever said i want him replaced? Never is when
We are a body light in midfield now,we were always going to buy someone ,maybe we wont buy anyone, who knows with pep,we need a full compliment as we go deep in every competition, there is plenty of games for everyone, pep plays them all over the place after all,i am glad phil has more fight and confidence than you do,he is a first team player,he is not afraid nor do i expect he expects to start ahead of anyone else because he is local,i said ages he is ready,i am never ever saying dont play him, ever,he is at the stage now where he gets a place on merit,i am positive ,with dave gone that he will blosom further

Do you post much when he does play? I dont really notice it

agreed that we seem behind them. Makes me wonder though with all these tid bits of information here and in months past if we really might be in for someone big a la Kane. Or that we’ve genuinely been laying the ground work for him or Messi since the turn of the new year. Guess time will tell.

Someone out there are winning champions league and playing the CL finals. We are here being happy reading the rumors of players coming. My lord i can't get past our CL exit. It hurts when this tournament is played last. We lose a big game and have 4/5 weeks to play another game. Its like this to me. I wonder what is going on with players. I fear next season will be affected by this result. As debruyne said- Different season same result. Even Zinchenko gave some hints players are affected by the result. Why wouldn't they ? after all they are all youngsters. 20 to 30 years most of them.
The pity thing is we are winning every individual battle in the game and at the last the second team wins. It like one student playing whole year and passing the exam. The other student studying whole year and failing.

Or anybody talking shite and posting guff is a mentally challenged rag troll.

Only the people that post regular shite on here are the ones fitting of that label since they don't welcome anyone opposing their view, I can understand tho, this is probably aged care central where old City fans can talk nonsense unopposed, so my bad.

No I reckon at most you are 3 out of 4
Not coming from user who starts his arguments with "anyone who knows football" trying to label others. You must have actually lived on this forum long enough to believe your opinions are facts. Anyways...

I think it is more likely to be the dichotomy of an older fan's history of supporting the club through difficult times and no money and the younger fans' desire to purchase the whole of a wish list of Fifa2020's best.

Both probably want the best for the club and both are possibly a little entrenched, including me as a child of '68.

It is an embarrassing result for us but the only thing we can do is improve the squad and move on. The error comes from not refreshing the team.
About your analogy, I would say just because someone has studied hard it does not equate to a good mark. You need to actually be efficient and we have been inefficient with our football despite statistically being good. We have two clear issues that needs addressing:
1. We need to improve our conversion rate from our chances
2. We need to have competent defenders who can understand their role when it comes to being out of possession

That's fair, although I'm not one for video game wishlists. Maybe it's hard to adapt to such rapid change for a lot, I can understand that.

If the players are affected by that result then surely that’s motivation enough to go and win the thing next season

Everyone can point fingers but if you are a part of it then the buck stops at your door

Pep included they should be on top of there game every week to prove they are good enough

Certainly trying to live up to your username with a post like that.

Seriously though, I’m not sure most people “welcome” people opposing their view anyway do they? People might claim that, but I’d actually think mostly people, whatever their age, really take more pleasure in seeing others agree with and confirm their views.

And despite Bayerns horrible reputation, they always get there men, at reasonable cost, and win the titles!

Entrenched and dichotomy. Excellent vocab there, especially so early in the day.
