Common practice in contracts... I managed an automobile account for a leading electric car manufacturer and their staff were inticed to the company by decent salaries but also share packages.. the ones that joined early did very well indeed... I am gutted I didn’t buy any when I started working with them ~8 years ago... but shit happens.. I’d just lost £2k on shares so didn’t want to get burned again... I’d have been laughing If I’d taken the plungeGiving him shares is a piece of paper, it’s not physical money as such. It’s a security deposit for Messi in reality, “look the shares are worth £180m today, but in 3 years they’ll be worth £240m. See out your 3 year contract then cash them in” it’s an incentive to stay for the duration and gives him a huge payday based on loyalty. In those 3 years we’ll make a shit tonne more than £240m as an example.
Agreed,With all the speculation, if he intended to show up you'd think he'd want to just be early not fashionably late to increase rumours!
Agreed,
He could still turn up, making a point.
but I think he's not going
I understood that training does not start until tomorrow and therefore all players must undergo covid prior to tomorrow.Says he’s due in training in half an hour so makes sense to get a test before work
Hadn;t thought about that! Haha. Why would he go? He’s not a Barcelona player any more...
No, there’s video footage of Suarez arriving for training just half an hour ago even though Koeman wants him out - someone had a video on here :)I understood that training does not start until tomorrow and therefore all players must undergo covid prior to tomorrow.
Why would he go? He’s not a Barcelona player any more...
