i like tolmies posts and look forward to them and enjoy them and know he knows stuff, but today to post that and not back it up all day is disappointing and if it was someone with a low post count would be hounded of the site!!
 
Think I've cracked it. Tolmie said "It isn't over." In German, over is uber, so if it isn't Uber it must be Lyft. Just looked up the origins of the word Lyft . . .

The Old English word 'lyft' is translated as 'air, sky, clouds, atmosphere' so covers both meanings. Litha (June): the early English calendar.\ "In English, left comes from the Anglo-Saxon lyft, meaning\"weak\"or\"worthless.

So, in June someone will be arriving by air who is weak or worthless. Simple, really!

He made it clear in the interview that he is only staying for now due to his contract. How many times did he clearly say he wants to leave and is being stopped?

There is a very strange entitlement in this post. Tolmie can post what he wants an we have no rights to demand anything beyond that. If you do not want his information then don't read it.

yeah course he can, but we all know tolmie has contacts at city and was itk about messi, but to post what he did then not back it up, even with a youtube vid seems strange.

I believe he is also waiting on covid results for himself and family, so maybe, you are not high on his priority right now.

There’s a HUGE difference though Sutty, Tolmie’s paid his dues and has more than enough credit in the bank, even the owner of the board will back that up, someone with a low post count will quite rightly be questioned and viewed with a large degree of skepticism, we’ve had enough wumming fuckers over the year doing it.

I'm still clinging to Khaldoon's interview when he said there will be more ' signings' on the way. I'm not feeling it at this moment in time, just not getting the vibe that anything is remotely close.
 
The strange thing about the Messi saga is that he claims he to told Bartomeu that he wanted to leave months ago. Now if I were Lionel Messi & I had a clause in my contract that allowed me to leave either at 'the end of the season' or by June 10th on a free transfer then I would get my represetatives to inform the club at this time of my intention to do so at the point in the contract. If they then came back with the fact that under the current situation regarding Covid then that point was at a later date then at least it was on record that the intention to leave was submitted.

It appears that Messi had a conversation(s) with Bartomeu entirety off record so there is no corroboration of this. This implies that Messi & his represetatives are are unbelievably stupid or he is not telling the truth. As Messi & his team have rinsed Barca on average around every 18 months for a new, enhanced contract then you have to wonder what the truth is.

What does he need to back up? “It isn’t over” is pretty clear; we are still talking to his people/the deal isn’t dead. That info was welcome for me, it isn’t any guarantee, but it’s info from a reputable ITK member to say that the deal isn’t dead - good enough for me!

yep i’ve seen his post last week and hope tolmie and his family are well and results come back negative!

and my post wasn’t to slag th off at all,it was just not like th to post something like that and not post again after it, and most the forum tagged tolmie in there posts for abit more information, so just seemed strange!
