Our transfer business seems to be painfully slow this time around. Yes, we brought two in early doors to replace Sane and a much needed defender, but it's been far too quiet since.

Are we even chasing anybody besides a suspected CB? I genuinely thought we would be in the market for another CM with Pep continually pushing Bernardo and Foden out onto the wings. Seems not though.

Hardly impatient when only two weeks remain and the season already kicked off.

There are reasons as to why we have not signed a centre back,in addition to Ake.You should keep up with this thread and just to ease your mind the same is applicable to all other PL teams who also have not concluded their business yet ... hence the reason for a window which has ALWAYS extended beyond the season kick off date.
Sorry perhaps I should amend my word of you being "impatient" to that of "FLAPPER".

Sky has gone to the dogs. I was watching this morning and they had three so called transfer experts (nobodies basically) discussing newspaper transfer gossip for a good hour. It was beyond bad, pre Covid you’d get better football discussion down the pub.

The most disturbing part was when a couple of the Sky guys live interviewed a staunch Bin Dipper on the Thiago signing. He had convinced himself and actually claimed during the interview that Thiago was one of only 3 players in World football that could come in and automatically improve the team. The worst thing was they let him away with it, didn’t even question him on it.

It seems crazy to me to not upgrade zinchenko, he’s probably 4th choice left back right now behind mendy cancelo and Ake, there’s little value to the squad there and he’d be about 7th choice in midfield. We should either use his space for a specialist left back as you say or if not use his space for a specialist centre mid
