There are other vehicle available, indirectly linked to Sheikh Mansour that could potentially be used - some are too close for comfort due to personnel at the top of our organisation but others could be available if that route was taken by Barca and was agreeable with Sheik Mansours team.
If not I'm sure Qatar will make funding available.

Castles knows less than this board - he is guessing as much as the next man. City are infuriating the press these days.

City have applied standard business practice to football very well. All dealings are under a very strict NDA with severe penalties for breach of agreement.

This is why people like castles really don’t have a clue, their mates they used to buy a pint for or bung a few quid don’t have a clue what’s going on at city.

A couple of clubs fell foul of the NDA a few years back and lost out, both initially but longer term so everyone tends to play ball now or we just don’t play with them at all.

Given our financial strength these days that’s a big loss for any club looking for revenue from sales, particularly after the last year.

Our position as a club is strengthened every day that passes, and because we don’t play the game with the press they hate it - and for transfers are guessing or blatantly making it up.
And the leaks have dried up now that ‘Chappy’ isn’t around the first team anymore to tell his pal Ladyman everything that goes on

Seeing Frenkie De Jong’s name banded about on here gets my hopes up despite knowing full well it wouldn’t happen.

When entering into transfer discussions

plenty gets out buddy.

I’m sat here in Dublin and about 4 years ago I got some rock solid info on Messi that came straight from his mouth. It literally fell into my lap by complete chance as someone I knew was working with him on a project.

this year I’ve gotten some info, because one of my best mates cousin’s is a premier league player and my mate is very friendly with his agent. I’ve shared some stuff privately with a few trusted sources on here, but nothing earth shattering tbh and very little is city related, but some does come as a consequence of other moves at rival clubs.

players talk, info gets about. City’s transfer team is very compact so nothing comes out of there, but agents do talk, and Castles gets plenty of good info there.

He's basically their second best player, so they'd hate to sell him but it all depends on just how bad their finances are.

He's on big wages, and if they want to do a Arthur/Pjanic type swap involving Bernardo on our end, they are going to have to put up someone worth a similar amount.
