I agree he’s been excellent at inter. Imo that’s down to the system suiting him. He was poor at manure and Chelsea. I’d be more inclined to use those two experiences as a guide as they’re prem teams.
For my money he was only poor at United. Everton he was lethal and Chelsea too young to judge.

If we buy in to the digestive issues beginning at United then that tricky spell is probably saving us 80m or so on one of the best strikers on the planet. Beyond Haaland I don't think there's a pound-for-pound better option.

He's unlucky in that his build hides a good touch and solid dribbling. He plays like he's 5'10".

Aye I agree he’s a great player, in the right system. Fwiw I don’t think any of the three strikers mentioned will be here next season and I be surprised if we’re in for any of them.

28 in 66 for the rags and 53 in 110 for Everton, 17 in 35 for West Brom on loan and 15 in 31 for Everton on loan. Those are pretty good for being in shite teams.

Lukaku even older than Kane. Doubt Inter would consider a bid under 100m. They are about to get a huge offer for Hakimi for either Chelsea or PSG which can go a long way to sort their financial issue.
I think at this point if Haaland is off the table you buy what is the best striker out there and its Kane/Lukaku. City would love to plan for the future with all players but sometimes you have to just buy ready made and if we are only to have Pep for two more seasons, lets make the most of it.

Everyone keeps talking about this offer for Hakimi, its not coming anytime soon by the looks of it and Inter are on a firesale of everyone, Hakimi money doesn't really do anything.

That's an interesting perspective, who are you thinking we'll go for?
I’d imagine it’ll be someone left field and prob from the second tier. Those 3 are pretty much the hottest property available this summer (if they actually are) and we don’t seem to sign the top tier hottest takes.

We don’t seem to sign what’s considered the ‘best out there’ though. Why would we change our signing strategy on the back of a winning season?

I'd imagine that they could all absolutely embarrass all of us even if they were just allowed to use their "wrong" foot. It's surely the standard/speed they're playing at - after all matches are full of crosses being blocked, cleared, or inaccurate from Premier League players who are using the correct foot :)
I get your point ,but i think debruyne proves that practice pays off & the confidence to use it .
What a strike & what a goal he scored the other day with his left peg .
