For a second, imagine the type of money Qatar have been offering him just to protect their initial investment?

The problem is they paid him too much to begin with.

Hes been earning €25m a year since he was 18. I doubt he's paying much tax on it, add in the commercial money from Nike and the rest and he's a 22 year old with €100m+ in the bank.

So now he's got more money than he can spend in his lifetime and 5 French league titles under his belt already what can you really offer him?

€10m a year more than Madrid? €15m more? Doesn't really mean anything any more.

i think city should be looking at other options as well as haaland and bringing another striker or delap given first team football. its a gamble if we miss out on haaland and we can not go into the new season without a top class striker

pep will know what he wants and the system he will play next season because we have to mix it up every season
there is options for strikers in this city squad and with jesus sterling and the false 9 but as a main striker when aguero goes its a hole that can not be paper over again

anyone of them 4 would fit into pep and city squad ? yes the big 2 should be the main option and the other one is felix. the outsider would be griezmann and his age is a question mark. but if aguero is going to partner messi at barca then griezmann will be off in a flash and we could get him on the cheap
