I don't know is the honest answer. The silence is IMO a very good thing though.

Got to agree with that, the less noise we make seems to work a treat, that's why I was surprised, and still am,that we so called bid 100m for Kane, and it was put out there as being true ?

I'm not saying we didn't,but very un City like to make that kind of noise wouldn't you agree ?

What do you make of the Nmecha comments..."they're getting another top striker,I don't think my chances would of been very good there".....do you think he was told what was happening?
I don't mean told who,I mean along the lines of "it's in your best interest" type of thing.

I think the bid was a statement of intent to Spurs and also to Kane, about how serious the club are.

Every transfer window is the same, everyone else is much stronger and we are too slow, yet we are the decade's most successful club and everyone here will still be a City fan, regardless. Enjoy the ride - I cannot bloody wait for the season ahead and the thought of Phil, Tommy Doyle and Cole Palmer in the team gives me a tingle!

They told Kun the same thing and he repeated it, so yes, I expect that they've since way back in march known that they're going big for a striker.

I will be absolutely staggered if we don't get a 9. Genuinely. Nothing out of City really surprises me because of the way the club is run - but this would be the most surprising thing I can remember since Pep came in.

Tbh it's seeming more and more like this Kane thing has been in the works for an extremely long time (you probably knew that already haha!). I refuse to believe the club would be so bullish internally towards our then contracted strikers if there wasn't anything really concrete in the works.
