That Gold story is an absolutely NOTHING story and there's absolutely no chance it came from Levy's mouth. That is standard press office "our position hasn't changed and we're not going to comment on media speculation" rehash.

If Daniel Levy had spoken to anyone, even off the record, then it was would have much more meat to it. For example, the Sun story says Levy told Kane and his team directly he can go. That detail would've been shot down in its totality as would the idea that he's put a transfer request in.
