Because they haven't got any money, like most other Italian clubs.

If he goes anywhere, I think Juve is his most likely destination (according to Martin Blackburn) and I just can't see them slapping down the £50m+ we'd ask for him, unless they have a major outgoing (i.e Ronaldo).

sergio WAS a better player, but whats that got to do with anything, we dont own a time machine, and a prime sergio is long gone, he is part of our history , kanes looking part of our future, can't fault kanes numbers , if we want to carry on with our success and need a goal scorer i can't think of a more suited player than kane.

can people stop comparing our next forward(whoever that is) to a prime sergio aguero , because if we did no one would ever fit the bill.

same with david silva, vincent kompany ect ect ect, these players are now legends of the club and will never be replaced, but the world turns and we have to keep moving and finding the best players for us, for now and the future.

Not if Kane arrives, I don't think he would want to be second choice for another season.

Then you risk imbalancing the squad and Pep places a lot of stock in squad harmony.

Jesus is allegedly one of the players that wants to leave and there's no real place for him if Kane signs - false 9 system is preferred over him, Torres arguably looked better than him upfront and Delap will probably feature in the cup games if he sticks around the first team setup.

He's also not better than Mahrez, Sterling, Foden and potentially Grealish outwide, so there's no point keeping him as a 5th choice winger.

Obviously the club will be trying to get a fee for him, but if we can't get one that matches our valuation3, I wouldn't be remotely surprised to see us sanction a loan with an obligation/option and a decent loan fee.

If/when Kane signs, Jesus is probably the most disposable player in the squad and he's hardly going to be happy with such a situation, is he?
