no matter who arrives it will not fullfill the deep void left by messi going to PSG,
Very Very sad story.
It was better if messi stayed at barca
I think you've got altitude sickness as you're not making any sense.

Deep void?

OK, explain what is meant by that please!

Messi has zero to do with us, he left us high and dry last year and we fucked him off accordingly. Once bitten twice shy make sense?

Him and PSG are quite welcome to each other, both don't understand the concept of money and think it grows on trees.

Harry Kane and Jack Grealish? Yes please!

Don't get me wrong Messi would have been fantastic here but we didn't even consider him. Our owners know the score before any of us lot do.

Overseas blues don’t get properly supporting a team. There are genuinely messi/ ronaldo fans rather than fans of clubs

Messi would have been nice but there is a lot more to be said about grealish and Kane, we are building the future of English football here at city now - potential six starters in our team and the England team playing together regularly. More to come too over the next two years I think, including from our academy.

If peps happy, I’m happy, also means Southgate is potentially happy too.

Building a great team now - shame they will be booed week to week but hopefully those booing will get behind them when they play for England

I think it's really unfair to call it "properly" supporting.

Really easy to be a "proper" supporter when you live in England and the biggest and most successful clubs on the planet are within driving distance.

I'm sorry but it's just arrogance to think that your support is more pure or real because you have that blind luck.

Go back for enough and very, very few people are City fans out of "proper" blind loyalty or local connection. Everyone starts somewhere and we're in a globalised world.

As a Welshman I am terrified of the team England have. Also to have Pep educate and coach Grealish Kane and Foden as a city fan it’s amazing as a Welsh fan it’s terrifying can see England winning a international trophy soon.

Agreed but unfortunately some don’t see it that way. Even people on this forum think we can’t be a “proper” fan if we don’t live on the same side of the world

I find American City fans love the sport first and foremost and then chose City for a variety of reasons. We get huge viewing figures over here because we play great football and entertain like no other.

Perfectly fine with not getting Messi, as long as we get Kane or someone similar before deadline day.

If we go past the closing of transfer window without signing a striker, serious questions should be asked about how we identify and sign big name targets.

We’d basically be tying 1 arm behind Peps back for 1 of his last 2 seasons here after convincing him to extend. And wasting a season of De Bruynes absolute peak without a decent striker to get on the end of his passes.

We wasted 2 years of Aguero, Silva and Kompany prime years on Pellegrinis limited management before Pep came in, hope we don’t make the mistake again.
