Going to be a real struggle against Chelsea, Liverpool, scum, probably Leicester without a true number 9 in the team. Other teams we'll probably still swat aside, but fucking hell I really can't believe we've had a whole summer to get a striker in and it looks like we're going to fail. Disappointed doesn't even come in to it
I really feel sorry for you Fordy, I have never known someone as miserable as you are on here.
Why do you support City when everything they do causes you a downer?

As ever...pinch of salt always needed cos things can easily be wrong, but just told by the same person who told me re Bernardo when he signed, Grealish being done and a couple of days ago that it was more Pep driving the Kane thing than City, that the club are now genuinely considering Ronaldo on a short term deal. Heh. I have no reason not to trust this person. Doesn't mean it will happen, but basically the links are real seemingly.

Liverpool - Diogo Jota, Salah, Mane and Firmino
Chelsea - Lukaku Werner
Leicester - Daka Vardy Iheanacho(whose buy back we funnily ignored for it expire)
Arsenal - Aubameyang Lacazette
Tottenham - Harry Kane
Man United - Cavani Rashford

We will be in the lurch with no clear out and out goal scorers. You can keep deluding yourself in the toxic positivity.

Sorry what the fuck is this list supposed to be?

De Bruyne. Grealish. Gundogan. Bernardo Silva. Sterling. Foden. Mahrez. Jesus. Torres.

Name me a side with a better front 5 and you're a liar.

Your whining about us not having goalscorers, lets have a look at the list of top scoring sides in the league for the past 4 years.

2020/21 Manchester City.
2019/20 Manchester City.
2018/19 Manchester City.
2017/18 Manchester City.

Each and every one of our players outscored their xG values massively. That pretty much wont be happening this year.

So will see your toxic positivity exposed soon.

If we did put in our last and final bid yesterday with a deadline on it, then it was a smart move by Txiki given it leaves time to look for an alternative.

Yes losing out on Kane is a bummer but it would have been a hard pill to swallow if we'd had got played by Levy and it happened on deadline day. At least we still have time.
You could argue it was a pretty stupid move by him not realising it weeks ago, leaving us only a few days to sort out a new striker which has been our nr1 priority for several months.
