Fucking what?

I was agreeing with your list finished at number 2. I'll give you that the club isn't the big a draw as some on here believe it to be, but we have more than just pep and money. We're the most successful english club of the last decade, regardless of who our manager is players stand a better chance of winning trophies with us than others.

How'd we manage to win two premier league's before pep showed up? There might be a dip when he leaves but we'll be fine.
I hope so... Time will tell, but I think you'll find it's going to be all about money

90 million?? The price for Haaland this summer was something like 175m, then there’s the 30-40m to Raiola and another chunk of cash to Alfie. And then there’s the monumental wages.
I think we can forget Haaland if the reported £800k per week and the Raiola circus that surrounds him is accurate.

Enjoyed watching the threads over the past few weeks and whilst its a shame the deal fell through, Ive got faith in the players and pep to make the season successful.
… However, there’s no getting past this being a big screw up by the club. To have gone this deep, with no contingency or alternative and ultimately miscalculated such a big deal is really poor management.
They’ve been chasing Kane for 12 months and still not closed it. Irrespective of the complications, that’s a failure and lessons need to be learned fast as its not the first time.

No one knows truly knows what went on behind the scenes, there’s been so many briefings and articles about what’s going on with Kane deal. Some were saying Spurs would take £150m and City would only go up to £125m, that to me seems about right seeing as we had a £100m bid rejected a few weeks ago. Levy refusing to negotiate with City may have been because City were unwilling to meet his price.
to me it appears Kane thought or understood if offer made by champions league team and spurs failed he could go otherwise why do golf round with rags spokes person saying his intentions, in which case city bid 100 million which is outrages amount really and waited Levy's hate for city sealed his fate,
city couldnt win either ways to tight to spend or city ruining football

What was the reasons Aguero, Toure, Silva etc signed for the club? We had no problem signing top players before Pep, and we won't have a problem once he's gone.
Money, Garry Cook, and Mancini.

Judging by our recent player succession process (Kompany, Aguero, Hart etc), I don't have a lot of confidence around the club's hierarchy having Pep's successor on their radar yet.

Don't underestimate the power of having a coach of Pep's stature on board. I know that a number of people around the club think that he's irreplaceable.

Whoever takes over from Pep will have problems, especially if the club doesn't back them in the transfer market.
